VAX was founded in 1977 by the Droitwich native, Alan Brazier, who was frustrated with the lack of carpet cleaning equipment on the market. Pushing him to create the first domestic vacuum cleaner that would allow people to wash the carpets in their own homes.
This small, orange 3-in-1 machine built the foundations for a legacy of innovation spanning 40 years –and one which has seen Vax become Britain’s leading floorcare specialist with stockists across the globe.
Where we came in
VAX approached Cactus Search to undergo a very discreet search for an exceptional Director of Customer Services.
With a period of rapid change and transformation ahead of them they needed someone who truly understood how to transformation a traditional contact centre into a world class, multi-channel customer experience centre.
Cactus searched the market producing a shortlist of 5 individuals who matched the brief with the final chosen individual having been instrumental in the transformation of the Clarks Shoes on and offshore contact centre operation.
Following that appointment, Cactus Search also recruited the Head of Customer Service as the 1st hire for the newly appointed Director.
