Cactus is delighted to be working with a new client, that is looking for a Back Office Resource Planning Analyst to join their operation based in London.

The Back Office Resource Planning Analyst will be responsible for forecasting, capacity planning and scheduling of several workstreams, ensuring the business plans to achieve against it’s targets and to highlight any risks or opportunities to service in the future.


What you will be doing…

Work with Back Office teams to map out workflows, understanding individual pieces of work, arrival patterns and time required to complete each task

Develop and maintain detailed capacity plans, ensuring that agreed shrinkage and performance targets are understood and reflect, current FTE and future requirements are accurate

Identify trends and create long and short-term forecasts

Meet with Back Office management on a regular basis to discuss the plan for the upcoming days and weeks, identifying potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to facilitate decision making

Look back at performance against plan, using information to further improve planning going forward

Work closely with BI team to develop reporting dashboards specific to the needs of the back-office operation


What we are looking for…

Extensive experience in resource planning within a Back Office operation

Able to demonstrate experience in creating forecast and capacity planning models for back-office teams from scratch

Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and engage at a senior level

Highly numerical, with experience of analysing large data sets to identify trends and patterns

Experience in building back-office planning models in Google Sheet or Excel. G-Sheet highly desirable

Experience in working with WFM platforms with an understanding of key set-up and processes would be advantageous
